Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Summary: Following a case review of an ASB suspect it has been identified that the behaviour, in terms of ASB in the community and

harassment against his neighbours has continued despite multi-agency interventions including the issuing of an abatement order from Environmental health. As a result NPT have taken the decision to make an application for a CPW to be issued in order to provide some justice for the victim and the community who feel as though they have not been listened to and there needs not been met. Actions: - High Vis patrols in the area to maintain an up to date intel picture - Remain in attendance at the case review meetings with updates to be recorded on the NICHE occurrence. - CPW application/ wording to be agreed with the youth offending team. - To establish any breaches once obtained and deal with this proportionately. - Continued engagement with residents to include SN sending out further PEFFS to local residents. - SN CCTV camera to be installed. Review: to be reviewed after 3 months to ascertain whether the CPW is efficient and whether the SARA is still required based on the evidence provided by reports/ occurrences and logs.
