Bransholme have some of the busiest areas for shopping primarily due to have a large shopping centers on the wards. Unfortunately this can attract a level of crime to the area primarily shop theft. Due to an increase of this offence we now have a dedicated officer working from Bransholme Police Station who will take ownership and work with local shops to deter and detect these crime. Issued 01 August 2026	01/07/2026 As much as this has been recognized as a problem for the area your local community teams have already been working on this issue and will continue to work on this problem. Already numerous prolific shoplifters have been recognized and been dealt with for several offences. We have also successfully applied to the courts for criminal behavior orders (CBO's) for numerous of these offenders. We continue to prepare further CBO's for others offenders/suspects and will take positive action when the evidence allows. Actioned 01 August 2026
