Patrols will continue to show high visibility where needed and to monitor the number of vehicles in the area, and to deal with any offences positively. Working in conjunction with ERYC and other departments we are looking at various measures aimed at solving the problem.

Following reports of anti-social behaviour involving alcohol and drugs consumption by large groups of people. Officers will conduct regular patrols in the area, issue dispersal orders and deal positively with offenders.

In the Force area there have been 2 recent serious injury Road Traffic Collisions which highlights the problems which can result from the use of these vehicles. Patrols will take action accordingly. This can mean a Court appearance for the rider, and confiscation of the vehicle.
