Anti Social use of Motorbikes - Middledyke Lane

In the coming months the Neighbourhood Policing Team will look to address the rise in misuse of motorbikes, e-bikes and quad bikes on the Flood Alleviation Lagoon on Middledyke Lane. The team will be providing a high visibility response to the issues on a day to day basis but also conducting days of action in conjunction with our neighbouring team in North Hull at the site dealing positively with offenders who cause the local community distress.

Shop Theft

In the next two months the Neighbourhood Team will look to continue its support to local retailers to tackle shop theft.

In the coming months we will provide high visibility patrols. Work with the Local Shop Watch to try and bring offenders to justice. Look to apply for Criminal Behaviour Orders on prolific offenders. The team will attend the meeting with the Local MP and shop owners in September and look to see what further can be done.

Anti-Social Behaviour

In the coming months the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be looking to address Anti-Social behaviour across Cottingham. There will be a focus on general ASB in the centre as well as the drinking of Alcohol in the Market Green area which has affected bus users. There will also be a focus on KGV playing fields regards the use of E-Bikes, youths entering derelict buildings on old university cites and ASB around shops in the Cottingham area.
