Theft of Chickens

Update - Police are issuing a further appeal in relation to the theft of chickens.

The stolen Chickens are likely to be sold on privately, in car parks of fairs, social media sites like Gumtree and facebook selling sites perhaps.  Also pets4homes, preloved. We are appealing for members public to be aware and report anything suspicious around the sale of chickens. The offenders are also going to need at least three bags of feed a week to for the stolen chickens which is worth considering.

The chickens are likely to be sold in small numbers as selling a lot would draw attention to themselves. 

Police urge anyone with any information to get in contact with Police by calling 101 or reporting it online. Members of the public can also contact crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
