Crime Alert - Burglary

Dear Resident,

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a garage burglary on Peterhouse Road, Grimsby.

The incident occurred between 05:00-05:00AM on 30/08/2025. The offender(s) approached a garage which is attached to a dwelling and gained entry to the garage by forcing the metal shutter, causing significant damage. Once inside they have stolen a number of tools and a motorcycle. The motorcycle was recovered a few streets away soon after. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the four persons involved.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25*121587.

To assist us in identifying stolen property please consider property marking high value items using Forensic Marking or UV pens.  You are also advised to register property at www.immobilise.com which is a free on-line property register used by police forces nationwide to reunite stolen goods to their owners. All you have to do is register on-line and then upload properties electrical items serial numbers.
