Officers from Brigg NPT, Roads Policing, VOSA & the Environment Agency have today been conducting checks of commercial vehicles in the Brigg area.

In total 21 commercial vehicles where stopped and checked. 6 vehicles received prohibition notices from VOSA for offences of exceeding weight limits, defective tyres, incorrect number plates and dangerous loads. 8 vehicles were reported by NPT and Roads Policing for various road traffic offences.

The Environment Agency have 8 further enquiries to conduct for waste carrier licence and other offences.
