Town Neighbourhood officers make arrest

This afternoon, Town Neighbourhood Officers PC Gilliatt 1748 and PC Watson 0324 were on high-visibility patrol on the High Street when they were alerted via Shopwatch radio to a male entering the area by various shop staff in the Town Centre

Officers knew that he was wanted for failing to appear at court in relation to multiple shop thefts. He was swiftly responded to the area in which he was located and arrested
