Crime Alert - Theft of a motorbike

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a motorbike from Cliff Gardens.

 

The incident occurred between 09:00 17/07/2005 and 06:00 21/07/2025. The offender(s) approached a the rear garden of an address and taken the black Python scooter which has registration WX70 HUK.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25000101402.

To reduce the risk of your motorbike being stolen, please read through the below advice -

  • Use two additional locks to secure your motorbike, such as a wheel chain and a brake disc lock. We recommend using Secured by Design accredited products
  • Consider fitting a tracker
  • Consider fitting an alarm if there isn't one installed already.
  • If you can't secure your bike in a garage, cover it up, so the make and model cannot be easily seen.
  • If you leave your bike in garage/shed, make sure that they are secure and alarmed.
  • Don't leave the keys where they can be easily found.
  • Consider fitting motion activated CCTV that will alert you to movement near your motorbike.
