Do you want to volunteer with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner? Join our Volunteer Manager for a Live Question & Answer session. Vince will be available to answer any questions you may have about how our panels hold the force to account, your role and what is expected of you or any questions you may have about joining one of the panels.
We currently have 2 volunteer positions available: Independent Custody Visitor: local volunteers make unannounced visits across our two custody suites to check and report on the welfare of people being held there. scrutinise common themes, trends and decision-making processes and how this impacts on diverse and vulnerable communities. All of our panels have rolling waiting lists, so if you have any questions about a panel we may not be currently recruiting for, please feel free to join our session and we can give you more information.
