Pro Laser deployment on Station Road, Hibaldstow

Ridge Team have been out this afternoon on Station Road, Hibaldstow with the Pro Laser. 

We listen to community feedback which we receive through humber talking surveys, emails, 101 calls and feedback on Facebook when it comes to deciding where we will set up with the device. 

The good news is the majority of the vehicles passing today were sticking to the 30 MPH speed limit! 

Sadly one driver wasn't paying attention to the speed signs, the light up speed board or the fact i was stood on the side of the road in a bright high visibility jacket!! Which means a notice of intended prosecution has been placed in the post for doing 48 MPH in a 30MPH zone. 

With the village hall having young people and families attending throughout the day and the children's play park being near the road, i think you will all agree that speed isn't acceptable. 

We will continue to listen to community feedback, listen to residents suggestions and make our roads safer.
