We have received a number of reports of persons calling members of the public and impersonating Police Officers. They are claiming that there has been suspicious activity on their bank accounts and are requesting further information from those they are calling.

Humberside Police do not have access to bank accounts and would not make such calls. If you have received a call, do not share any personal information, if in doubt contact your own bank or use online banking to make sure your account does not have any unusual activity. 

If you have any information about those making these calls, please call us on 101 with any telephone numbers or emails they may have used.
