Today we’ve caught up with Detective Inspector Tom Kelly, in our South Bank Organised Crime Team.

DI Tom Kelly runs a team of twelve highly experienced officers and explains how his detectives lead the investigations into drug supply, drug conspiracy and other offences linked to Organised Crime Groups (OCGs). 

His team are extremely skilled, and their training involves learning comprehensive knowledge on how to force entry into buildings, the correct use of TASER, drugs testing and most importantly an instinct to hunt out those who are intent on causing harm in the community and seek their arrest. It can be a very fast-paced environment to work in.
