Humberside Police are investigating reports of Arson / Anti-Social Behaviour from Shaw Park and Laxthorpe.

The exact time and date is is unknown; however we do know it occurred in the last two weeks. As we approach bonfire night we see a spike in wheelie bin fires. We advise you to keep your bins out of sight if possible and chain them to prevent them from being taken. Please aim to bring your bins in as soon as they have been emptied.

We know that this type of behaviour can cause upset and worry towards local residents. Humberside Police work with our local partners Hull City Council's Nuisance Neighbourhood Team (NNT) and we encourage that you report this type of behaviour to ourselves via the police 999 and fire brigade.
