With the advance in technology there has been a rise in fraudulent activity within the area. It appears that fraudsters are getting more clever at this and more people are becoming victims. Scams usually take place via telephone, text message, email or even door to door. Always read messages properly, checking the wording and pronunciation. Never give personal information out, especially bank or card details. Romance scams are on the rise,  they target vulnerable people who might live alone or have lack of confidence and put up a fake profile pretending to be someone else. Remember, if it sounds good to be true, it usually is !
