Crime Alert - Burglary Residential CRESSWELL CLOSE, HULL


Dear Residents

 

Humberside Police are investigating a report of two burglaries on CRESSWELL CLOSE, HULL . The properties are next to each other.

 

The first incident occurred between 0300hrs and 0400hrs on Friday 9th February . The offender(s) approached  a property to the front and after gaining entry stole a number of tools before making off in an unknown direction 

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref:  24000018381

 

The second incident occurred at 0700hrs Friday 9th February . The offenders have smashed through a front door , entered the property, making an untidy search of all rooms , before taking a number of items and smashing their way through the windows at the rear of the property , making their way out and over a fence and off in an unknown direction  either by foot or vehicle.

Remember to keep your own property secure to reduce the opportunity for thieves. Whenever possible lock your doors and windows in unoccupied rooms even if you are in the house.

Please be reminded to lock your doors and to keep any security gates closed and locked at all times

We also advise residents not to leave high value items on display as they may entice thieves.

To assist us in identifying stolen property please consider property marking high value items using Forensic Marking or UV pens.  You are also advised to register property at www.immobilise.com which is a free on-line property register used by police forces nationwide to reunite stolen goods to their owners. All you have to do is register on-line and then upload properties electrical items serial numbers.
