Hull West Neighbourhood Team were out on mobile patrol on 30/04/24 around Boothferry Estate. One of the officers noticed a male using a mobile phone which caught his attention and attempted to stop the vehicle. The male driver made off refusing to stop and driving in a dangerous manner through crossings at speed and along the footpath. Male abandoned the car leaving a female and small child behind. Male was subsequently arrested for fail to stop, dangerous driving, no insurance and no license. The car was also on cloned plates. Enquiries continue. Police log 314 30/04/2024 refers.
